SCPi is a dynamic group of therapists working in the Surrey area that have come
together to support and learn from each other. We are always ready to welcome new
members who can bring enthausiasm and passion.
In order to become a member each therapist must attend 3 of the 6 yearly meetings. The meetings
are on the 2nd Saturday of the month every other month starting in January from 10-1pm. There is
an annual subscription of £45. After attending 3 meetings the therapist's details are posted on the
Website and they become a full member of the group. We also have a number of members who cannot commit
to 3 meetings per year but want to stay involved. They pay a subscription of £45 but their details are
not posted on the website. Each year to stay as a full member each therapist must attend 3 meetings.
Each meeting is split into two sections the first part is a general discussion on the group and
developments since the last meeting. After coffee and networking we move onto the themed workshop.
Over the last year members of the group have presented on a wide range of topics including, Sexuality,
Intercultural Therapy, Working with Children and Adolescents, Working in Organisations and many more. All
of these hours are eligible as CPD hours.
